Brett Budgeon Vocal Workshop

Brett Budgeon is a Hobart based singer/performer and teacher who grew up in Devonport. He teaches singing at The Hutchins School, The Friends School and Hobart College. His former students can be seen in a range of performance settings right around the globe. He maintains a busy performance schedule with his band The Collection. He has performed in over forty stage musicals across Australia. Most notably he played the Phantom in Tasmania’s premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera.

In this workshop he will share his comprehensive knowledge of vocal and performance technique. The first half of the session will be run as an interactive workshop. In the second half, participants will be able to observe Brett work with four young singers in a masterclass setting. He’ll help to troubleshoot technical difficulties and delve into the expressive potential of their performance.
