Established in 1960, the Tasmanian Music Teachers’ Association is the major association of instrumental and vocal teachers in Tasmania. Our members are highly qualified instrumental and vocal teachers throughout Hobart and surrounds, Launceston, Devonport, Burnie and other regions around Tasmania.
Find a teacher
We have listings for specialist teachers who can provide tuition in a wide range of instruments, including piano, singing, violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, flute and other wind instruments, and music theory and composition.
Styles cover everything from classical and early music to contemporary, jazz and pop.
All our teachers who are currently working with children have obtained Working with Children Registration as required by the Tasmanian Department of Justice. Teachers appearing on the database without this registration teach adults only.
