TMTA North West Branch and Northern Awards
TMTA North West Branch and Northern Awards are held around October each year. Students of TMTA members perform for an adjudicator and various awards are given for each grade level from Preliminary to Diploma in both theory and practice. There are two separate sets of awards. The TMTA North West Branch Awards are given in each grade level for piano, instrumental and vocal performances, and music theory or musicianship. The presenter for the 2019 Annual Conference is Mark Gibson MMus, BMus(Dist), GradDipMus, GradDipFET, FTCL, LTCL, AMusA. Southern Branch Music Competition is an annual event held by TMTA for students of TMTA members in the southern part of the state.
